Alexa Glatch professional American tennis player

Alexa Glatch It's hard to know where to begin in a story about Alexa Glatch. Do you talk about all the ITF titles she has won (three in a row this summer alone)?; Or the Pro Events she has taken by storm (recently quarterfinals in a $50K)?; Or the USTA National Junior Championship trophies in her case (two more in August)? These things aren't even what really comes to mind. What amazes me about Alexa is that she is so relaxed and ready to play anyone, anywhere and she hasn't even celebrated her fifteenth birthday.

Ten year old Alexa gave notice to the world of junior tennis in 2000 with 3rd place singles wins at the Copper and Gator Bowls; a doubles win (with Julia Cohen) & singles finals at the National Hardcourts; and doubles 4th place at the Claycourts. The following year she added awards for two National Opens and in 2002 the trophies kept coming, including one from the Roxy Open, but the big wins were at the Winter Super Nationals, where she took singles and doubles. Alexa repeated the duel win at the 2003 Easter Bowl, a feat which helped earn her the title of 2003 Junior Player of the Year by Inside Tennis Magazine.

Alexa Glatch has been doing it all in 2004, playing USTA National Junior & Pro Circuit events. She was a singles winner and doubles finalist at the International Grasscourts. I met with her at the Girls 18 USTA National Hardcourts where she came in third in singles and was a double finalist.
