Anastasija Sevastova Latvian tennis player

Anastasija Sevastova (born April 13, 1990) is a Latvian tennis player. On June 7, 2010, she achieved her career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 56. On August 31, 2009, she claimed her highest Doubles rank of No. 195.
In March 2010, Sevastova got the biggest win of her career by defeating World No. 9 Jelena Janković in the first round of the 2010 Monterrey Open. She reached the semifinals, falling to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in three sets.

Sevastova played at the 2010 Estoril Open and in her first match defeated top seed Ágnes Szávay 3–6, 6–3, 6–3. She then beat veteran Kimiko Date Krumm in the second round (Date Krumm retired), Anastasia Rodionova in the quarterfinals 7–6(6), 6–2 and Shuai Peng of China 6–7(6), 6–1, 6–3 in the semifinal. In the final of the 2010 Estoril Open she beat Arantxa Parra Santonja in straight sets 6-2, 7-5. It was her first WTA Final and her first WTA Title

Vera Dushevina Russian Professional Tennis Player

Vera was born the 6 of October 1986 in Moscow. Her father, Yevgeny is engineer and her mother Elena is teacher.Vera were introduced to tennis at the age of seven by her father.

Vera started to play on the professional tour in 2001 and won an ITF tournament in doubles in Minsk.

In 2002, Vera played mainly on the junior tour and she won Wimbledon Junior and Orange Bowl tournaments. The same year, Vera appear on the WTA ranking and she was 550th on the 29 of july.

In 2003, she played her last tournament in junior tour at Roland Garros and she went in final against Groenfeld but she lost. She won her first ITF tournament in single in Innsbruck (Austria). Vera played in the main draw in Miami and the US Open after she had won in qualification. She went in semi final in Helisinki.

In 2004, Vera went in the top 100 and she stayed until the end of the year. She played a third round in Miami (lost against Dulko) and the US Open (lost against Capriati).

In 2005, Vera finished the year in the top 40. She went in final in Eastbourna after she had beaten Mauresmo. She lost in final against Kim Clijsters. It was the first final for Vera on the WTA Tour. The same year, Vera went in 1/8 final at the Australian Open (her best results in grand slam at the time being). 2005, was also the year when Vera started to play in Fed Cup and Russia won the fed cup against France in Roland Garros. At the end of the year, Vera decided to change the spelling of her family name from Douchevina to Dushevina.

Except tennis, Vera likes soccer and Basket Ball, russian movies. She has two cats. Her favourite cities are Moscou, Paris, Milan and Melbourne.
